MY PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY

I am originally from the Chicago area, but have lived on or near the Monterey Peninsula since 1975. My California business experience began as the General Manager of my family company's processed lettuce division in Salinas, California. In 1983, the company divested itself of this division. Shortly thereafter, I made the decision to enter the residential real estate business in Carmel. I have been in practice on the Monterey Peninsula ever since.

Interestingly, since 1983 my entire real estate career has been headquartered on the same city block in Carmel; Ocean Avenue at (or near) Dolores Street; currently, in the historic Wilson building which I now own. In the ensuing period, I have been associated with four realty firms; one of which I owned with partners for 13 years. In 2006, our Burchell House Properties was acquired by Alain Pinel Realtors, with whom I am presently employed as a Broker Associate.

In 1991, the National Association of Realtors conferred upon me the designation of Certified Residential Specialist; the PH.D. of residential real estate. Residential real estate can oftentimes be a complex business. My high level of proficiency and years of experience add real value to my clients' real estate transaction experience.

  I have been blessed with many wonderful clients who throughout my twenty-three years in the business have kindly referred me to their families and friends. In fact, most of my business is derived from such clients. Friends and clients will find my private office located in our newly renovated, historic building at the northwest corner of
Ocean Avenue at Dolores in Carmel-by-the-Sea.
